Doctors orders made me go plant based. This means my options are pretty limited when it comes to plant based AND organic dining options. I found this place on Yelp, and it lives up to the hype.
The vibe in this place is really boho. Which is exactly how my house is decorated. So, I really felt like home away from home. Tons of plants, and dope art work. They do have meat options! Their wraps are not gluten free (but I have high hopes they'll introduce some soon). Now on to the FOOD!
Do you hear the angels coming down from heaven? Well, that was the sound I heard when I took my first bite of the walnut tacos. The black bean salsa really marries the walnut. Im pretty sure I tasted some sweet potato in there which adds a nice sweet flavor to the tacos. There really isn't any need for meat in these tacos. In fact, the meat would really destroy the taste of these tacos. The presentation was gorgeous. The side salad features mixed greens, tomatoes, red cabbage and cilantro lime dressing.
A gentleman was kind enough to bring my son a plate of mashed sweet potato - thank you! He was the sweetest!
Next time I'm trying the CBD infused kombucha.
I'll be back time and time again. Actually - I'll shamelessly admit I'm now addicted to the freggin tacos. So if you see me just grab a seat, and let's chat over some fire food (:
